Our Story

The Hopper got its start during the corona virus pandemic, after the original pub, The Blue Grasshopper closed. Destiny & Jon were long time customers at the pub in Rio Rancho where they met and later became engaged and had a wedding party.

The two would visit the pub often, where it became a favorite spot for entertainment. Later, they frequently brought their daughter Evelynn to enjoy the casual, fun atmosphere. The food, live music, and ambiance were all something to aspire to.

During the pandemic, they heard The Blue Grasshopper would not be reopening. After much thought, they decided to reopen their favorite place to frequent under their own name.
